An Empowered History of Black Women in American Classical Music is a year-long elementary education e-book program that brings the stories of Black women composers to life. With teacher guides, student readings, lesson plans, and hands on activites, it makes music history engaging, empowering, and accessible for every type of classroom.
If someone were to walk in your shoes, what would they experience? This Classical Queens coloring book features a pair of shoes with the prompt, ‘What colors and patterns show who you are?” This activity allows students to explore their ideas around who they are, and who they want to become.
